About this print
Let your eye wander somewhere wilder. A rushing river cuts through dark cliffs towards a snow-covered mountain in this Japanese-style landscape, with gold foliage warming the rocky foreground. The distant pale summit opens the scene beyond the gorge, giving the print a satisfying sense of discovery.
The composition gives you several distances to explore. Detailed rocks and moving water fill the foreground, trees soften the middle ground, and the mountain provides a still point at the back. Cool blues and warm leaves keep the scene balanced between freshness and autumnal warmth.
