About this print
A small act of affection with a rebellious touch. In Banksy's Love Rat, a stencilled rat paints a dripping red heart, giving an unlikely little character an unexpectedly tender role. The bright mark feels freshly made, bringing warmth and humour to the spare street-art composition.
The contrast is affectionate and cheeky. A creature often treated as unwelcome becomes the one leaving a message of love. Black, cream and red keep the image direct, with the loose heart softening the more detailed silhouette.
This print brings a playful note to a hallway, bedroom or small gallery wall. It is an appealing choice for someone who likes a romantic gesture with a little attitude. A black frame draws out the stencil detail; a white frame lets the red heart become the clearest accent.
