About this print
Let a gesture of defiance become an unexpected expression of hope. Banksy's Love Is in the Air captures the tension of a throwing stance, then replaces the expected weapon with flowers. The bouquet transforms the mood without taking away the image's energy, making this a compelling focal point for a contemporary room.
The body carries all the tension of the gesture, from the planted feet to the extended arm. Against the restrained background, the flowers provide the small burst of colour that changes how the scene reads. The composition feels energetic even before its meaning comes into focus.
It can anchor a contemporary gallery wall or add a sharper note to a calm living room. Leave space around the figure so the full pose is visible, and pick up a colour from the bouquet in a small object or textile nearby.
