About this print
Give the room a little theatrical presence. Jean Carlu's Pépa Bonafé poster layers expressive faces in red, ochre and black behind a pale profile, creating a portrait with a sense of performance. Strong planes of colour and bold lettering make it compelling from a distance and intriguing up close.
The faces seem to shift between character and mask. Their overlapping shapes create depth without realistic shading, and the restrained palette lets each expression remain clear.
