About this print
Roller shutters might seem an unlikely subject for an art print, until Fortunato Depero gets hold of them. In this Komarek advertisement, two striped shutters become sculptural shapes, one standing tall and the other curling open. The red lettering is every bit as inventive as the objects it names.
Komarek was a roller-blind manufacturer in Rovereto, the town closely associated with Depero's work. The appeal here is his ability to find something extraordinary in a practical object. This Italian advertising print is a rewarding choice for a study or hallway, especially for anyone interested in architecture, lettering and the ingenuity of everyday design.
This is a reproduction art print, printed to order on matte fine-art paper. Choose unframed or a black, white or natural wood frame, in sizes from A4 to A0.
Printing and framing
Museum-grade paper. Remarkable detail. Printed on thick, museum-grade fine-art paper, with high-resolution printing that brings every detail into focus. Expect vibrant colours, deep, rich blacks and a softly textured matte finish that keeps glare low. Art you’ll love from across the room and even more up close.
Solid-wood frames. Ready to hang. Give your print the finish it deserves. Choose black, white or natural wood, with precision-finished corners and crystal-clear, UV-protective glazing to help preserve colour. Your print arrives fully framed and ready for your wall. Prefer your own frame? Choose Unframed.
