About this print
A sip of champagne becomes an occasion in Bernard Villemot's Mercier poster. An orange profile curves towards a slender glass, while white hair and sparkling jewellery stand out against the black background. The face is only partly shown, yet the image suggests a whole evening of dressing up and going out.
Villemot lets a few sweeping lines do the work. The long neck, the curve of the shoulder and the pale champagne glass give this French advertising print its elegance, with a flash of orange keeping it lively. It is a fitting piece for a dining room or drinks cabinet, bringing a sense of celebration even when the bottles are still closed.
This is a reproduction art print, printed to order on matte fine-art paper. Choose unframed or a black, white or natural wood frame, in sizes from A4 to A0.
