About this print
A forkful of pasta becomes a grand performance in Achille Mauzan's Maccheroni Pianigiani poster. The red-clad figure lifts a swirling tangle high above an eager face, with so much enthusiasm that the meal seems to have lifted him off the ground.
Against the deep black background, the pasta, red costume and yellow lettering have the presence of a stage act. The humour is immediate, but the long strands and animated pose keep the picture interesting up close. This Italian food poster print belongs where meals are enjoyed, bringing appetite and a little theatrical excess to a kitchen or dining room.
This is a reproduction art print, printed to order on matte fine-art paper. Choose unframed or a black, white or natural wood frame, in sizes from A4 to A0.
