About this print
Pasta takes flight in this wonderfully unlikely Barilla Parma advertisement. Two babies ride enormous pieces of golden bow-tie pasta through a deep blue sky, turning an everyday ingredient into a tiny airborne adventure. The red Barilla signature below brings the fantasy back to the familiar name on the packet.
The joke works because farfalle already look like little wings. Here they are big enough to carry passengers, with scalloped edges and warm yellow folds that make the food feel almost tangible. A playful Italian kitchen print for pasta lovers, it has the charm of an old illustrated storybook and plenty to notice beyond the brand name.
This is a reproduction art print, printed to order on matte fine-art paper. Choose unframed or a black, white or natural wood frame, in sizes from A4 to A0.
