About this print
A little pink can change the mood of a room. In this Matisse exhibition-style print, a coral branching shape rests on a softer pink square, balancing warmth with the simplicity of an open composition. Somewhere between a leaf and a piece of sea life, its rounded form leaves space for the imagination.
The design recalls the directness of Matisse's cut-paper language, where a clear outline and a strong colour can carry an entire composition. Here, the cream border and black exhibition lettering provide a composed setting for the lively central form.
Try it in a bedroom, dressing area or living room with warm neutrals. The two pinks can soften dark furniture or sit comfortably alongside terracotta and linen. It also makes a useful partner to a more detailed botanical print, keeping the plant-like theme while changing the scale and style.
